Here is a little guide about factory outlet shopping and saving money while shopping.

Inside Ideapark's Old-town section

Inside Ideapark's old town section, old brick walls large clock on a wall next to cafe AitoleipaMy favorite section in Ideapark is in the old-town section built, using old red bricks and roof parts. There you will find lots of nice little cafes, restaurants, art, handwork, and metal crafts shops.

A must try for Sauna Lovers...The Osmia Sauna accessories shop. After shopping for Sauna soaps enjoy real Finnish Ice-cream nearby.

Local bakery Cafe Aitoleipas red tables and chairs, with a large wall-clock hanging on the wall. And if you begin walking at this point straight in about 20 meters you turn your head to the right and see...

captain hook character standing with a pirate posing at Captain Hook restaurant inside Ideapark...Captain Hook. At the restaurant section of the old town.

Try their food... tasty beer battered onion rings for starters, Chicken wings the way you want them with a healthy helping of veggies and dip.

My favorite thin crusted pizza is in the old section.

Vacation idea: During a rainy or snowy day in Finland, Ideapark keeps you sheltered inside where you find popular and trendy shops in Finland.

Fun for Children while at the best shops in Finland.

Take your kids to kid care and then walk around alone with your spouse. Do some shopping just as a couple. Don't worry, the kids are playing and having fun while you are looking for that perfect gift, designer clothes, or food for your trip.

Indoors is a giant Jumping Castle for your kids to play in, while you sit down and relax with a massage.

Pine wood built Cow,Fox,Stork and Moose for climbing on and sliding down.
An outdoor playground to take your kids to. Pine playground equipment: A Cow,Fox,Stork,Moose for climbing and slides for sliding down. By Lappset. These are so robust and high quality that even adults can play on them.

When to go to Ideapark and how long to stay?

When I need to get shopping done, with less crowds, I shop weekdays between 7pm-9pm. 9pm is closing time during the weekdays.

No need to rush through Ideapark. Plan to spend at least 3 hours there. The longer the better. Folks park their RV's, and stay the whole weekend since there is parking for RV's as well. Best of all...parking is free.

Inside Ideapark's walkways.Large chandelier hanging about 3-4 meters from the ceiling with its light reflecting off the floor.Large light saucers evenly reflect light downward, illuminating Walkways, creating the modern Finnish Ideapark look. While patches of different shades of brown stone floors reflect light back up.

Inside Ideapark 60 cubicle lockers to store your belongings with transparent doors.Large lockers to store belongings you want to keep with you at Ideapark, but not as you are shopping.

Inside ideapark's men's bathroom.Large and spacious, with lots of mirrors and space to wash hands.Toilet cubicles are on the right after going through the door, sinks on the right.
Walking into the men's bathroom. Toilets are in separate cubicles, Some cubicles have sinks in them. Bathroom WC sink tops are black with a marble- like top, black and white stylish tiles.

Shops in Finland: (Not at Ideapark.) Here is a taste of a high quality souvenir, gift, interior design and decoration shop. Along the same theme as Ideapark, this gift shop Pussukka has two locations. One in Klaukkala (Klaukkalantie 57, 09 853 3369 or choice of a smaller more touristy shop in Levi (Levintori 050 558 6992).
