Tampere
The second most popular vacation city in Finland is Tampere. We drove 30 minutes to get to a nice spot to walk and make a fire by the lake.
Beautiful Finland with beautiful birch trees. The Tampere area has great trails for walking. When you find a trail you can hike it. Stop and make a fire.

Vesilahti
When you visit Vesilahti, you see Finnish country living. There are lakes everywhere, quietness abounds, and the air is super clean. The small region of Vesilahti is 30 minutes drive south of Tampere. See 15 pictures of a sunset in Vesilahti near Lempäälä

When driving, cycling or going by bus from Lempäälä to Vesilahti, heading towards Kirkonkylä on road 301, you drive over a bridge. These pictures are from the bridge show magnificent views of Finnish Lake Pyhäjärvi in late July 2008.

Near Nastola is this beautiful, "untouched by human hands" nature trail around a lake few know about.
